The Practical Handbook of Bee Culture (No. 2, Winter 2015) is here! Edited by The Retired Beekeepers of Sussex, the Handbook contains 60+ pages of essays, fiction, art, and poetry, all related to Sherlock Holmes and John H Watson. Our issue theme is “Queerness in Sherlockiana.” The digital version is set up as pay-what-you-want, so you can get it for free (which is completely okay), but if you want to chuck us a few pence for operating costs you can do that easily. A hard copy is available through our on-demand printer.

Queer readings of literature have gained traction in mainstream academia but have not been given the space and time they deserve in more “traditional” Sherlockian circles.
