mary is 100000% unsupportive towards john when sherlock returns and john is furious and devastated that sherlock lied to him. she rolls her eyes, laughs at him, takes sherlock’s side, and chides him for raising his voice. then she immediately starts working on john to get over it and start talking to sherlock again. by reading his private thoughts about sherlock (an unpublished blog post) out loud and then teasing him about how smitten he sounds and how he’s shaving his mustache because sherlock doesn’t like it. but hey, she did hold his hand twice, so yknow. perfect wife.
