isn’t it sad that one of the most explicit pieces of evidence that sherlock is attracted to john – him literally asking john out on a date – is also one of the scenes that’s most ignored and summarily dismissed by people. like he literally straight up asks john on a date and then verbally confirms that that’s exactly what he’s doing and it’s taken to be “haha poor sherlock doesn’t know what a date is :)” as opposed to him explicitly expressing the fact that he’s attracted and interested in a relationship with john
